Delivery
Delivery options
As we have carefully selected our partners, we are able to provide you with free local and international delivery via expedited shipping.
Our domestic delivery partners will deliver your items within 3 – 5 days after the order has been processed by Light Empire which takes 0 – 2 days.
Our international suppliers will deliver your items within 10 – 25 days after the order has been processed by Light Empire which takes 0 – 2 days. From experience, we have seen that the majority of international deliveries by our supplier are actually delivered to South Africans within 5 – 10 days post order processing.
As we have local and international suppliers, you may receive more than one delivery for your order.
Please note: as with any delivery service, timescales are estimates, cannot be guaranteed and don’t include customs clearing times beyond our control.
For international deliveries, our local courier will be using the shipping information and contact details provided. The courier will contact you for delivery and in the event that they are unable to make contact you post reattempts they will deliver this to your nearest post office for collection within 3 days. Failing which, it would be returned to our suppliers courier partner for collection and we will take no responsibility if the product has been lost.
Customs
At Light Empire, we have worked with our international suppliers to create a frictionless experience for our customers and that the price you see is an all-inclusive price for the product.
Given the vast number of variables on international deliveries and the varying items in any basket there may be isolated instances where you will be required to pay a customs fee prior to the courier delivering your goods. In addition, the customs process is a necessary procedure with any import and while often it takes minutes to a few hours, this may increase materially during high peak periods.
If your order is subject to a customs charge you can contact Light Empire Customer Services to submit a claim for reimbursement. You will need to pay the customs charge first and provide proof of the charges to successfully claim this back from us.
In the event that you have chosen to cancel or return the product to us, you will not be reimbursed for the customers charge, however, you may contact the local customs office to claim a refund directly from them. If you have been reimbursed already and request a refund, we will deduct this value from the refund amount.
